最尴尬的一次发生在1993年,我代表《南风窗》与当时的广州市长黎子流进行联合采访。新华社记者主问,我负责录音和笔记。不知按错了哪个键,过了一会儿发现录音机的磁带鼓了出来。幸好市长没有察觉,我迅速将机器塞进口袋并按下停止键。

采访结束后回听,发现大部分内容未能录上。只好向电视台记者求助,谎称要核对版本,才得以补全内容。这件事给我留下了长久的心理阴影。

从此之后,无论使用录音机、录音笔、智能本还是手机,我总忍不住频繁检查录音状态。一些关键采访,甚至会动用两部手机同时录音,才觉安心。

直到某天翻看女儿大学教材,读到诺曼的《设计心理学》,我才释然。书中指出:当产品出问题时,人们常归咎于自己,但真正原因往往在于设计缺陷。“操作失误不应归责于用户,而应归因于产品与设计。”

原来,不是我的错!

尽管心态放松了,现实中仍难觅真正“以用户为中心”、具备“可视性”与“易通性”的录音设备。尤其如今许多采访为英文,且自媒体时代要求快速整理发布,压力依然存在。
